The Rotterdam based Van Nelle factory and Gispen have an ongoing relationship for over 75 years.

Together with architects Brinkman and van der Vlugt, Dutch design icon W.H. Gispen furnished the head office. The double “waiting bench with radiator” was an eye catching design element.

Under supervision and co-ordination of Claessens Erdmann, the industrial past of the Van Nelle factory was reshaped: a design factory.

Again, Gispen made a special and eye catching contribution: The longest table in the Netherlands, a 100 feet long catwalk.
